I am GRATEFUL for every person who personally reached out, donated, or even visited this fundraiser page this past week.
I completed Ironman 70.3 in Haines City, Florida on Sunday, April 28. The race was a testament to the work I’ve put in for months (well about a year and a half now due to COVID deferments). This cause gives the training and racing process so much meaning.
In full awareness of how corny this may sound, I could hear my Poppop’s voice saying “GO BEAN” (family nickname, too long of a story), through every pain point of the race. I know he was there cheering me on and Grandpa Larry was sitting proudly next to him smiling down on me.
